YDIS Smart is an application software specially designed to assist users in conducting inspections of Yamaha outboard motors. The app allows users to utilize certain functions of the Yamaha Marine products' self-diagnostic system, Yamaha Diagnostic System (YDIS PC version), directly on their smartphones.

The YDIS Smart App is authorized for use exclusively by Yamaha authorized dealers. It is to be utilized solely for the purpose of servicing a customer's Yamaha outboard motor. Unauthorized users are strictly prohibited from accessing or downloading this application and must cease usage immediately and remove the App.

For detailed operational instructions on YDIS Smart, please refer to the manuals provided by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

Terms and Conditions for Use
Prior to using this application, it is essential to carefully read and comprehend the following precautions:

<ul>
<li>YDIS Smart is exclusively intended for use by service personnel responsible for the service and maintenance of Yamaha outboard motors.</li>
<li>To utilize YDIS Smart, users will need a specific adapter and registration details for the main software (YDIS PC version).</li>
<li>Activating the GPS function on your smartphone is necessary to display the speedometer.</li>
<li>An internet connection via mobile data or wireless LAN is mandatory during both user registration and application usage.</li>
<li>Bluetooth® functionality must be enabled on your smartphone to operate YDIS Smart.</li>
</ul>

It is imperative not to manipulate this application while the boat is in motion to prevent potential accidents. Yamaha will not be held responsible for any damages or losses resulting from mishaps during the application’s use.

During your utilization of this application, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. will automatically gather the following information:
<ul>
<li>User registration details: YDIS Smart adapter serial number, Country ID, Shop ID, Installation Key</li>
<li>Certain engine data provided by the application: Saved data, Country ID, Shop ID, location information (when GPS is active)</li>
</ul>

Your privacy is important to us. We will employ the collected data for statistical analysis of application usage and service enhancement purposes. Users will be responsible for any communication charges incurred while utilizing this application.
